The Road to New Mexico...

The rest of the drive from Texas to New Mexico was absolutely incredible. The landscape was as changeable as the weather.

We went from being battered by the winds in an apocalyptic looking dust storm on the plains of Texas and going through creepy half deserted towns to driving up mountains and passing amazing panoramas in cowboy country...

The rain clouds, mixed with the white fluffy clouds, mixed with the sunset made for some stunning scenery - it was hard to keep my eyes on the road!

I couldn't stop smiling the whole time, it was beyond anything I could have imagined when we set out to do this road-trip. Now we're very exciting for the views that are ahead of us with the Rockies in Colorado, the monumental rocks in Utah and the Grand Canyon (hopefully!)...
