Red Rocks...

Another plan that didn't go too well today was visiting the Red Rocks Amphitheatre - a big gig venue carved into the side of a mountain.

Unfortunately there was a gig happening today so the venue was closed to the public - but the Red Rocks park was absolutely amazing and we had a great time hiking up the hills and rambling over some rocks...

  In the end, we were pretty pleased that we couldn't go to the Amphitheatre, I don't think we would have spent so much time rambling over the Red Rocks otherwise - it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Colorado is an absolutely stunning place!
