I don't think either of us will ever forget the feeling we got when we drove up the hill to the New Mexico/Colorado state line, and driving round the corner to the amazing site of the snow capped Rocky Mountains! We couldn't really stop to take any photos of it, but it'll be in our memories forever.
I can't get over how quickly the terrain changes in America, as soon as you cross the state lines it feels like you're somewhere completely new and different.
There was a little rest stop by the border that we could stop and take a few photos of the lush green hills instead though, and we managed to get a few photos of the snowy mountains out of the car window as we were driving along...
