We really wanted to see some live music while we were in Nashville, and although we'd seen some at The Stage on Broadway, we thought we'd try and see some more at the Bluebird Cafe.
I'd never heard of the Bluebird, but Abi knew that it was a bit of a big deal, lots of country stars (like Taylor Swift and Faith Hill) have performed there at the beginning of their careers.
We didn't have tickets, but luckily there were two seats at a table left for us to sit at in the small, intimate cafe. It was a full house for the night's act Phoebe Hunt, a Nashville local who played the fiddle and guitar and sung some proper country songs with her little band...
It was such a brilliant night - it felt like a very authentic Nashville music experience, and who knows Phoebe Hunt might be the next big thing in Country Music and we can say we saw her at her Bluebird Cafe debut!
