Raindrops on Roses, Whiskers on Kittens...

There has just been the most AMAZING storm here in Manhattan.

The sky had been slowly clouding over all afternoon, then at around 5.20ish there were some soft claps of thunder with some small flashes of lightning in the distance... then around 5.30ish the sky was completely and utterly BLACK!

The sky was so heavy and there was constant flickers of lighting, right above our building, big thunder bolts were clattering around the buildings and then the rain came...

It was like artificial rain, blankets or thick heavy rain waving down the street, I could see it all from my office window - the streets were instantly starting to flood, sirens were wailing as the fire brigade rushed out to unblock the drains, people were battling against the weather with their umberellas. We on the other hand we safe and dry on the 8th floor, looking down on it all.

It was very, very dramatic.

Now, at 6pm there's blue sky in the distance! Incredible.
