It was a gorgeous day when we strolled around Central Park, we went to see the Alice in Wonderland statue, we went the model boat lake and the real boat lake and had a spot of lunch at the Boathouse (very nice chips!). The queue for the rowing boats was a bit too long, but maybe next time...I absolutely love Central Park, all the people, all the different sections of the park, all the space - it's perfect. I'll be taking my book along and enjoying the sun VERY soon.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonerdul space in the middle of a vibrant city. I am sure it will be calming at any time of year but autumn will be spectacular, and so will winter and just think of the new leaves in Spring....
