When we stepped out of the hotel on Saturday morning, it seemed like the whole of Chicago had been taken over by Iowa Hawkeye fans!
Eeeeeeverybody was wearing yellow t-shirts of some kind, all the cafes and breakfast places were a sea of yellow and as we walked down the street we just kept seeing more and more fans everywhere - some in quite unusual sporting attire...
There was a really friendly atmosphere in Chicago that morning – all the fans were chatting to each other, all getting excited for the football game at Soldier Field later that day. I'm not sure if they won or not, but the Iowa fans were certainly out in force!
