We had a very relaxed Sunday - watching a bit of the tennis over breakfast and heading to Williamsburg for a bit of a mooch...
We had ourselves a rather tasty final hot dog at Crif Dogs and then headed over to the river to have a look at what treasures we could find at the Brooklyn Flea Market.
Despite being incredibly hot, the market was busy and full of bargain hunters. We did as much browsing as we could handle before the sun got too hot - we found some goodies though, in the corner at the toy stall. There were lots of great old toys that we recognised from when were were growing up (although I think we must still be growing up because we both got excited by the toys!).
We had a quickly little walk down by the water, weaving in and out of the fishing rods on the little jetty - the wood on the jetty was getting so hot under our feet, I'm not sure how the guys fishing could stay out in that heat for so long. We had to go and get some water and some shade.
We just had a relaxing rest of the afternoon before it was time for Tom to be on his way back home...
