It's that day again...
Punxsutawney Phil gave his prediction this morning in Philadelphia. Unfortunately little old Phil saw his shadow and went back into his house, so that means we've got 6 more weeks of winter ahead of us.
Although so far our 'winter' has been pretty mild, it was 12 degrees earlier this week and it looks to stick at around 5 or 6 degrees for a few days. Although that's nothing compared to the 'winter' Tom's having!

ReplyDeleteHave the previous predictions been correct for the other Groundhog Day's you've been in the US for? The winter here is slightly different, we've had a couple of windy days which has meant visibility is poor with all the construction dust in the air - the kitchen work surfaces and floors are covered...it got to 28C the other day!
