There was a slightly scary clown on the G Train yesterday afternoon. He didn't really seem to be 'all there' (I think he lost himself in a bottle of booze somewhere) but he was trying to brighten up people's journey.
It's so funny seeing people's reactions - some people totally ignoring him (like the lady reading her book), others laughing and watching from a safe distance, and some far more brave and inquisitive, like the little girl who wanted to play with the balloons.

I suppose some people must have got used to seeing all sorts of things on the subways that not much would surprise them anymore. I'm glad I'm no where near that phase yet. I don't really know how anyone could get totally used to New York.
