Typical. As soon as I leave New York, someone really famous just happens to stroll out of the pub opposite work! Abi spotted the one and only Billy Connolly coming out of Lillies during her lunch break today...
Hopefully we'll bump into him again when I'm back in town!

Apparently Billy lives right by where we work! So hopefully we'll be able to see him again and get an autograph. I think Abi's hoping Billy will introduce us to Sean Connery (their friends apparently!).
ReplyDeleteLillies is an Irish bar named after Lilly Lanctry! I thought that was a huge coincidence as I remember seeing all the articles about her in the Jersey Museum! I wonder if she went to Bakewell or Swaziland too?
