After two flights (both of which I was sitting next to extrememly large passangers who took up about 1/3 of my seat as well as their own, so I was in a state of squishedness for the whole flight), we made it back to New York at about midnight last night.The clouds above the Empire State Building glowed red in a very unusual and dramatic way. I love the journey back from the airport (apart from when the taxi driver gets lost, like he did last night!), the skyline always looks so impressive.
