So, the first of the pancake flipping didn't go exactly according to plan this evening...
However, the pancakes that followed were a great success, starting with some savoury ones - chicken and bacon salad and brie and bacon salad and then moving on to some veeeeery yummy maple syrup ones.
They don't celebrate Shrove Tuesday over here (why the American's would miss out on the opportunity to eat more pancakes is a mystery) - but we weren't going to let that stop us.

ReplyDeleteOurs were yummy too but we weren't as adventurous with fillings - sticking to good old butter and sugar. Even more for tea today!
