On Saturday the weather was being very peculiar...
When we woke up, it looked fine but then all of a sudden it started raining - really raining, huge ploppy drops rain. It raining for ages, and then all of a sudden it was lovely and sunny.
When I went outside I was expecting it to feel nice and clear after the rain, but the air was so so thick and so hot and humid - it was the most uncomfortable it had been all summer. I was barely at the end of the street before I was sweating!
I checked the weather to see how hot it was and noticed that there was a Tornado warning in effect over Brooklyn and Queens! A tornado?!
Well, the tornado never came (well, not over Bedstuy at least) but later, in the evening the clouds overhead became very VERY thick and very dark and were moving very quickly towards Manhattan...

It was all very odd - and seemed to only last one day as today was the most beautiful and clear day! What a weird summer it's been, weather wise.
