Yesterday evening, on our way back from work we were treated to some new buskers at the Lorimer G train stop. The new comers were a group of 4 guys who looked like they'd made half of their instruments themselves...
With a couple of three string guitars that looked like they were made out of old (thick) card boxes and a broomstick handle double bass, you wouldn't have thought they'd sound as good as they did.
The guy playing the bass was great, hitting every note spot on just by moving the broomstick handle a couple of centimeters each way... it was amazing really.

Hopefully they'll be back soon so we can give them a couple of dollars and hear some more great music.
