This weekend was a bit of a quiet affair, due mainly to the fact that Abi and I both had fraudulent activity on our bank cards on the same day by the same people for nearly the same amount!
So our cards are out of action until we get new ones...
We did however managed to scrape together enough pennies to go to the newest (and closest - dangerously close in fact) Shake Shack in downtown Brooklyn.
We'd passed the Shake Shack with Mops and Pops while we were walking to Brooklyn Heights last weekend - I think we knew it wouldn't be long until we went to sample their Shack Stacks and Shakes.
We went along for lunch on Sunday, there was hardly any queue (not like the guaranteed 30+ minute wait in Madison Square Park - which we don't mind, but still) and hardly any wait for the food either, and it was piping hot and absolutely delicious!
Shake Shack remains our favourite burger in NYC, some have come close but have yet to topple the champion. We're hoping to try the Burger Joint burgers as soon as we get our new bank cards, they have been named the best burgers in New York by many folk (including Jamie Oliver) so obviously we need to try those... soon!
