Very very recently a new hotel has opened in Williamsburg, right opposite Brooklyn Bowl and the Brewery. It's the rather swanky looking Whythe Hotel...
We met up with Abi there after work for a wee Friday drink on their very nice rooftop bar!
The whole hotel is so nicely done - there's a restaurant on the ground floor that looks lovely and the bar on the roof had the most incredible views across the river...
The views in the opposite direction were pretty great too, infact every way you looked you had a great view of either Manhattan, or Brooklyn, or both...
It wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we took our drinks outside and enjoyed the views, getting some photos in before the crowds came...
It was such a great surprise to go up in the lift and find such a great little bar with such amazing views, and it really wasn't that busy - considering it was a Friday night!
I think it's safe to say we'll be going back here during these lovely summer evenings. I bet the views at night time are even more spectacular!
